Avery Elle February Release Blog Hop

Good Morning!

Today is a fun day because It's time for Avery Elle to release their new February sets.

And these ones are so darn adorable!!

Plus not only are there 4 new sets, there are some new cardstock colours and textures.

Just a reminder that all products you see along the hop will be available tonight, at the Avery Elle store, as of midnight EST.

My card was made using the new set, Hipster-potamus!

The sentiment is actually from one of the other new releases, What's Up.

Paper Smooches!!

Good Morning!!

I am so very excited to be helping showcase some of Paper Smooches new FABULOUS dies.

Paper Smooches is showing off their CHA release 

during the entire month of January.  

37 designers are participating along with the PS DT, so there will be a ton for projects to inspire you this month.  

Paper Smooches is known for their fun and whimsical hand-drawn stamps.  

They decided that it was time to broaden their product line to include DIES and wood mount stamps!  

I have a couple projects to share using NEW PS product that releases on February 1, 2013 at www.papersmoochesstamps.com 

along with many retail stores around the globe.

I used their new Small Hot Spot Die, which is a base and then comes with a piece that fits in the space.
There is also a set of interchangeable plates for that space, seriously super cute.

I used A Little Lovin for the sentiment and image, and the Small Hot Spots Base die.

There are so many different uses, 
which is why I couldn't stop at just one card. :)

Plus these dies cut like a dream!!

This one uses the interchangeable star plate, and Pip Squeaks and A Little Lovin.

It's Saturday, which means another fabulous RetroSketch challenge!

This one's fabulous as usual.

So bright and cheery isn't it?

I wanted to use some more yummy products from i {heart} papers for this project, so I chose some Basic Grey paper, Paper Cottage, and a couple of adorable sets from Paper Smooches, Cyber Cafe and Warm Hearts.

I also used the little die cut heart from the WPlus9 die set Seasonal Sentiments, and Memento's Rich Cocoa ink pad.

Happy Saturday!

It's that time again, time for a new RetroSketch challenge. :)

This week's sketch is based on this stunning card,

by our fabulous headliner Jen.

Didn't she do a fabulous job? Gorgeous!!

When I saw this sketch I knew exactly which flower I wanted to use.

I used the flower from the Paper Smooches set Pretty Momma, which can be found at i {heart} papers.

I used a few other products from there, the patterned paper is Echo Park's Bundle of Joy, the thank you sentiment is Technique Tuesday's So Very Thankful set.

I also used the Eclipse masking tape to mask the flowers, and Memento Tuxedo black ink with the Copics.
