Happy Birthday Avery Elle - June release blog hop

Today is a special day, it's the Avery Elle June release blog hop. 

It's a bit more special today because Avery Elle is turning 1!!!

Retrosketch #65 - one of a kind

Morning!

I hope you are having a great Saturday so far.

It's time for me to share another RetroSketch with you.

This fabulous sketch is based on this amazing card of Arielle's that you can visit here.

My card uses the sketch but on a typical card base (for me anyway!!) and not a square. I really do need to branch out!!

I used some fun digital papers and a sentiment from TAWS Deep in the Woods set.

Everyone knows a few of them.......love birds!

It's new RetroSketch day, and this week's challenge is based on this gorgeous card courtesy of our FABULOUS headliner Danielle.

For my card I was inspired not only by the sketch but the contents of Danielle's card.

I decided to pull out my TAWS Bird Brain set, and found two of the most adorable love birds. :)

I also used Framed and Tag Alongs.

I'm finally posting something not for a challenge or release!!

Today I'm just sharing a card I made for my MIL for Mother's Day.

I used the same design as this card.

I used Avery Elle's Handwritten Notes from this month's release

and Petals & Stems.

I also used some of Tsukineko's gorgeous chalk inks in Pink Petunia and Malted Mauve.
