Avery Elle mini note cards

Hey there!

Today I am sharing a card I made for a good friend of mine who just finished school for her second career.

For this card I decided to bring out my TAWS learning curve set.

I used the adorable little pencil and that lined star

 for the background and accents.

The sentiment is from the jibber jabber set, which is one of my favourite sentiment sets.

OMG!!

Please forgive me, I did it again, I totally blanked on my post. :(

My only excuse is we have family in town. 

I finally got to meet my handsome nephew!!

Well, and the cousins got to meet for the first time.

It was awesome, they sort of hugged each other. Too cute.

My nephew is 10 months and E is 6 months.

Anyway!! 

On to the sketch.

I just love these colours!

I decided, in end, against going with the festive theme, and opted for a celebration theme. The presents kind of spoke to me!

As I'm writing this I'm thinking it looks a bit top heavy!

Oh well.

I used the flowers from Tropical Hideaway, and the banner with sentiment from Wish Big.

Good Morning!

Things are starting to wind down here, the Stampede only has one day left.

Thank goodness! Don't get me wrong I like parts of the Stampede.

It's just that things are so busy, and it's saddens me that animals die every year for sport. 

I do LOOOOOVE the midway rides and deep fried foods though. :)

Anyway, I have a card made using this week's new RetroSketch.

It's based on this beauty by our July headliner Lisa.

Now if you think that card is beautiful wait until you see her re-take!
