I guess it's official I'm addicted to these Make it Monday's by PTI. This week the challenge is to use scor-tape to make glitter lines/strips.
I was inspired by my closet. Not for the colours but for the plaid. I have always wanted to try making my own plaid, why not start with glitter!
I used a combo of the 1/8" and 1/4" scor-tape to create the plaid. The pink & purple glitter are Martha Stewart and the black is Making Memories. I was actually amazed to see how much glitter I have considering I hardly ever use it. I know I am guilty of seeing a technique and having to have all of the supplies only to find that it doesn't really work with my "style".
Anyway I am off to nap after my weekend of crazy night shifts. Thankfully I have the best work partner ever to get me through them. Unfortunately last night was her last shift as she has headed off for her mat leave. :(
Oh well I guess a baby is an OK reason to take a year off!!!!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

This is gorgeous; a brilliant idea to use glittered strips for a checkered pattern. Wow!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning. A pastel Plaid is exactly what I thought of doing when I saw the callenge but of course I don't have either the tape or the glitter. Cool to see someone else thought it too.
ReplyDeletea very pretty card!
