so thrilled!

I have been wanting to do a card using the bat stamp for a while. I know he is supposed to hang upside down but for some reson when I look at him I see him throwing his hands up and cheering! Do you see it now? :)
Super simple I know, but I may try this again with a little more to the card. But for now this was just screaming to be made!

If you are wondering at all how I did the sentiment, don't cringe when I tell you but I cut apart the stamp to break it up into smaller chunks of words. I thought this way I can also use them with other sentiments. For example I cut it apart so that the "I am so", "thrilled", "that you" and "picked me" are all separate. That makes it easier to ink up small sections. They all still stamp perfectly. :)

Off to bed and on to another work day, and another election too. Jeez, I wish they would just agree to disagree and save us all some money! This is getting ridiculous.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  4. Great idea for your cheering bat ;)
I love that you customised the sentiment to suit you too - cutting up stamps just gives you even more options. What's not to love?!

  5. Love your cheering bat! The sentiment is (customized and) perfect, especially with the little hearts :)

The first bout last night was an intra-league scrimmage, and it went well! I was a scorekeeper...turns out I can count and add just fine ;P

    Next one's the 21st!

  13. Love this little bat right-side up! After all, if he was upside-down, he'd be sleeping. :) And you've just given me a great idea for using one of my sentiments... once I cut it up. :D
And you got your wish... four years till the next election probably!

  18. So genius to use the bat the other way round. I would never have thought of this. Totally love your style! Thank you also so much for the link for the picket fence die from the monster card and the lovely comment you left on my blog. I think I need to see if I can find that die in the UK, it is fab.
