I do love halloween!

Good day everyone! I love Halloween so much as it was always a big deal at my house as a kid. My mom LOVED to dress up, decorate, and make my costumes. My favourite one that she made was Maleficant from Sleeping Beauty.
It was unreal! She made the purple & black cape, the high neck, the horn headpiece and everything, the only thing I didn't have was the crow. Boy, I wish I still had it, even though there is no way I would still fit into it! My mom rocked! I guess it was very convenient that her child was born about 1030pm the night before Halloween. It was the perfect excuse to go overboard :D
I can't wait to have kids of my own to overdo this fantastic holiday! But for now I will have to make do creating the odd card.

This one is made using a stamp that was my mom's that I found amongst my halloween collection, by a company called Picture Show. I paired it with Papertrey Ink's halloween prints and some black saddle stitch ribbon. I just love this image, kinda spooky don't you think? (Please forgive the paper towel backdrop, I couldn't find my usual backdrop paper!)

I also made this card, feeling the need to use some googlie eyes. I think this monster needed them, badly!
The stamp is from Close to My Heart's merry monsters set, the patterned paper is basic grey (last year's halloween collection).

Thanks so much for stoppping by! Have a great day. :)
