Thank You

Hey there!

I'm excited to share this card with you today,
it was made using the Avery Elle Aim High stamp set
along with the Aim High dies.

We love our 4" x 6" Aim High clear photopolymer stamp set. The sentiments and trendy arrows in this set are fun, fresh and perfect for so many occasions. Use them with the coordinating Aim High Elle-ments Dies to create professional results.

Our Aim High Elle-ments Custom Steel Die are exclusive to Avery Elle. These premium steel dies coordinate with our Aim High clear photopolymer stamp set and are proudly made in the USA.

Fabulous hey?

I used the dies to cut out some arrows in this fabulous striped paper, and raised some of them for some dimension.

I also used some of the Citrus, Carribean, and Lucky blends sequins.

Head on over to the Avery Elle blog for even more inspiration today.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

cool digs!

Good morning!

I hope everyone's week is going by smoothly so far.

Today I have a card to share using one of the new fabulous Avery Elle sets called Home Sweet Home.

We love our 4" x 6" Home Sweet Home clear photopolymer stamp set. The sentiments and cute camper, teepee and igloo images in this set are fun, fresh and perfect for so many occasions.

Soooooo super cute!

I absolutely ADORE that camper image, and just had to put it all over my card. ;)

It's hard to tell but I used a bit of glossy accents on the window and the door.
I would love to own one of these retro campers.
I've had my eye on a sweet little Boler for a while!!

RetroSketch 76

I'm here today to share the newest RetroSketch.

My card is an odd one of sorts.
A friend who's favourite holiday is Halloween, just finished updating her nursing to a degree!
It's been a work in progress for a few years and now she's done.
I am SO proud of her.

Since she's such a smart cookie, and has big brains, I thought this would be appropriate. :)

She'll love it, I'm sure!!

I used one of the sets from the new TAWS release called Bump in the Night.
The word brains is from that set as well. I wanted the mmm part too and ended up using and upside down w from the word arrow in the Good Point set.

Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!

Please stop on over at the RetroSketches blog to check out what Arielle. Laurie and our headliner Claire have to share with you.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

p.s. for those that asked, my little man is doing great thanks!

We had a couple firsts lately, his first tooth has broken through and we tried solids. (Mom has been super chicken to start them!!)

Here's his 6 month photo.
I can't wait to see them all together and see how much he's changed.

He was a bit of a grump that day!

RetroSketch #75

Hello, again!

I have the newest RetroSketch to share with you!!

This week's sketch is based on this beauty by our lovely Laurie.
So simple and gorgeous, as always.

For my card I was inspired by the sort of swooshing effect of those leaves.

And used my newly acquired Papertrey ink watercolour set, by Maile Belles.

Be sure to head on over to the RetroSketches blog to check out the amazing inspiration the rest of the DT have waiting for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

hey friend

It's been a crazy week for posts for me and I have two today!!

First I have this card that I made using one of the new TAWS background sets, Stack'em high.

I found this cool technique, showcased by Laurel Beard, that I came across while searching my Pinterest inspiration board.

So much fun!
Try it, you'll love it.

On a side note yesterday was my 4 year anniversary and last night we got a date night, my MIL looked after the dude.
We went to this great dive called Boogie's Burgers.......soooooo good.
My favourite part though......I had an absolutely FABULOUS milkshake called the young elvis. It was peanut butter and banana and it was heavenly!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Be sure to check back later for the new RetroSketches challenge. :)

I would LOVE a mug like that. So fun a cheerful.

Here's my take on the challenge.

I used the new set Stack'em High for the sentiment and one of the older digital freebies Alison offers.

3) - The challenge linky closes on  at Noon, TAWS time (Mtn) on Thursday before the next challenge starts..!!!

We have to have prizes for all the effort put into it right?

The Top Pick will be hand picked by Alison, and will receive 1 free stamp set of
their choice along with a badge to proudly display on their blog.
One Random winner will receive 1 free stamp set of their choice, and a winner's badge to proudly display on their blog.
