I must say I can't believe it is the middle of October!!

This year has truly flown by. :)

It's that time where I need to start making Christmas cards, and the new TAWS release has some adorable images.

The Chill Out set features quite a few options of my favourite of the wintery themes, snowmen.

Cute right?

I decided, however, to use some of the other images for my card today, the cardinal and snowflakes.

I used a few other sets as well, Stack'em High for the sentiment and Trees Company for the branch.

It's been a crazy week for posts for me and I have two today!!

First I have this card that I made using one of the new TAWS background sets, Stack'em high.

I found this cool technique, showcased by Laurel Beard, that I came across while searching my Pinterest inspiration board.

So much fun!

Try it, you'll love it.

On a side note yesterday was my 4 year anniversary and last night we got a date night, my MIL looked after the dude.

We went to this great dive called Boogie's Burgers.......soooooo good.

My favourite part though......I had an absolutely FABULOUS milkshake called the young elvis. It was peanut butter and banana and it was heavenly!!

TAWS Be Inspired Challenge

It's Friday (Yaaaaaaay!!) which means it's time for a new TAWS Be Inspired challenge.

Here's my take on the challenge.

I used the new set Stack'em High for the sentiment and one of the older digital freebies Alison offers. 

Now unfortunately this one is no longer available BUT have no fear, there are plenty of other FABULOUS ones to choose from.

1) You MUST use an image from The Alley Way Stamps (you can find freebies here!) Projects with non-TAWS images will be deleted.
