WooHoo! It's the weekend. :)
I hope its a great one!
I just wanted to share with you the last couple of cards I made during my short-lived creative streak.
I love photos, the creativity, the different feelings a picture can evoke. So I have always wanted to learn a little bit more about photography in general. I would have to say my favourite "styles" are close-up or macro shots, black & white photos, and landscapes.
Of course when I discovered bokeh, and that you could change the shapes of the lights I had to try it.
My community center had all the trees lit with either white or red christmas lights, so I went out there one night to try it out.
I also love polaroids so I thought it was a natural fit!
For my final card I decided to try out my grunge set from PTI. There are so many fun elements in that set, but I wanted to use the splatter images.
I had the felt left over from another project, and I forgot I had this cute speech bubble punch by Fiskars. The letter & heart stamps are Paper Smooches.
Well there you have it, the last of my lovey dovey cards. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous weekend!
so sweet, Kasia! Love the first one - that photo is amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh wow love that photo and how you took it, soooo cool! Love your card inspired by it!!! Love all your love cards, I've made so many more this year too!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most amazing photo! Perfect with the "true love" sentiment, too. The second card is totally fun and happy!
ReplyDeleteLove those blurry heart lights!
ReplyDeleteWonderful broken Kasia, it's like a lightbulb moment when you capture it for the first time isn't it!
ReplyDeleteMakes the perfect valentines card, oh and the second is just as awesome too, love a bit of grunge :0)

ReplyDeleteBrilliant designs!
ReplyDeleteThat effect is so cool! I love that you framed the photo as a polaroid. And your design with the splatters from Grunge Me is so simple and brilliant. Love the speech bubble!
ReplyDeleteSigh...seriously awesome cards Kasia! LOVE that photo on your card, stunning and the second card is just too cool! Love the splatter!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these but particularly the top one with the polaroid look.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! You're going to have to teach me how to do bokeh pretty please. That's so cool! Love all your valentine's day cards!
ReplyDeleteKasia, you're cards are so cool! I learned about bokeh just a few months ago, and it is so neat that you were able to make a love card with it. I love the grunge card, too--the little felt embellishment is very cute.
ReplyDeleteThese are both great cards, but the first one is sending me off to figure out diy bokeh, stat!
