Sparks for CAS-ual Fridays

Good Morning!!

I have a fun card to share with you today.
I'm sure you all know how much I LOOOOOVE Paper Smooches stamps.
Well, they have a Sparks Challenge DT call on right now and how could I NOT try out.

The sparks challenge for these past two weeks has been to be inspired by this photo.

(I'm getting this in just under the wire as the challenge closes tonight.)

I have a feeling you are going to look at my card and wonder where in the world I got this from!! I promise to explain. :)

So....I know I could have gone with the text theme or the blues & orange for the colour scheme, and I was going to, but then I got reading the quote and was inspired by the word MILLIONAIRE.
I thought millionaire's have money, where do you get money, your job.
And there you have it!!

Now I have to admit, this took a while to create. I used a whopping seven, yes seven, Paper Smooches sets to create it.
I won't tell you about the obvious ones but I thought I would share the maybe not so obvious!

I used the "towel" from Hang Ups, and the "$" symbol from Santa Paws to create the dollar bills in the background, and I used the "ribbon tie" for the kite from the Sunny Side Up set to give the little monster a bow tie. I thought, you need to look presentable for a new job, what better way than a bow tie!!

I am also adding this to the CAS-ual Fridays current challenge, Opposites Attract since red & green are opposite on the colour wheel.

Click on the pictures to go to the challenge sites!

Thanks for stopping by and for following me through my though processes!!
Have a wonderful day. :)

  12. Well, I think they NEED you on that team FOREVER. Kim! If you see this, please make all my crafty dreams come true!!!! :)

I love that you chose red and green and that it doesn't look Christmas-y at all. Seven stamp sets is a ton - you're so clever. And the little bowtie just sends me over the edge of cuteness!
