I am celebrating because ALL of my crafty responsibilities are done! Invites.....done. Commissioned cards.....done.
Now I have housework to catch up on that I have ignored for the last 2 weeks!
The girlfriend that I visited at the end of May, is coming up with her hubby and little one so we can surprise the bride-to-be for a girls weekend. But as of right now the bed they are to be sleeping on is covered with clean laundry!
So off I must go to tidy. But first I wanted to share the last few cards I was commissioned to make. I know which is my fave! This first one by far. I know there are a bunch of ones like this out there but I needed a girl card and how cute does that whale look in pink?
I had cut a border from the PTI simple circles die (you will see it on the card below!) and liked the way the left over looked with the off-kilter "waves". The middle layer is the same pink cardstock but I went over it with versamark to keep it in the same tone but add some change.
I had wanted to use the frame created from cutting out the Mat Stack 3 for this card, and so this card was born.

For this last card, I had made the birdie first, using the single images from PTI's Modern Basics set. Doesn't it make an adorable little bird?
Well, thanks for stopping by. I hope you had a great day! :)
Awww! Too sweet! Love them all but my fave has to be that blue chickie :) Great way to use the Modern Basics!
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG! I was just thinking that Modern Basics needed to come off my wish list.....NOT NOW!!! I love that bird you made! You are amazing at thinking outside box with stamps!
ReplyDeleteAdorable cards Kasia... love the idea of changing the tone of the card stock by adding versamark! The blue chick is so cute :)
ReplyDeletew-o-w! those are great cards! love the tip for darkening the card-stock color a bit with versamark... and that birdie? so cute!
