First of all, I want to say thank you so much for all of the feedback I got yesterday on my commissioned birthday card.
It just wasn't sitting right with me, so I went back to it and this is the revision.......
A bit better? I liked the other one too, I just felt it still needed a little something. For the record my husband told me to leave it alone!
I also wanted to quickly share the first of many baby cards I have been asked to make. The Boy Basics: Out of This World set was just screaming to be inked up.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great Friday. :)

I like it! the bling works really well on your birthday card, and that baby card? l-o-v-e it! I haven't used my mat stack 3 set very much lately... time to pull it out!
ReplyDeleteIf I add bling, my husband will always tell me that I ruined a perfectly good card! I love what you have done - that touch of deep color makes the whole thing pop!
ReplyDeleteHmm..I really liked the original, but the new one is definitely very cool. I do love the heaviness that the garnet colored base provides. Very nice card once again.
ReplyDeleteLove the baby card, too, of course. That little rocket is too cute.
Your too funny. Don't you just love getting the hubby's opinion. LOL! I think it turned out great. The baby card is so cute. I am thinking about purchasing that mat stamp behing the rocket. I've been eyeing it for awhile.
ReplyDeleteLove the red - really makes everything pop! And that baby boy card is too darn cute!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards - your tweak of the 100th birthday card was worth it, and the cute rocket baby card is fun ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend, Rx
The scarlet card base and bling are the perfect additions to this card, Kasia! So nicely done!
ReplyDeleteYour little rocket is stinkin' adorable! Love how you've framed it with the Mat Stack 3--I never know what to do with that one!
i would have said "leave it" too, but the crimson paper and rhinestones are amazing!!
ReplyDeletelove the welcome baby card awesome design the blue rocketship draws your eye right to the center of the card and the cicle really give the feeling you are in outer space

Wow, you improved on an already great card, but the bling and extra layers do make it pop! And the baby card is totally sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh, I always forget about those mat stacks -- your baby card is so cute with one!
ReplyDeleteYep, the added red bits really do make that century card pop.
Off to nap -- NSOd a tournament for 13 hours yesterday -- whew!
I love the addition of the jewels!
ReplyDeleteLove the revision! What a fun card! The baby card is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteLOL, you did wonderfully with a difficult card. I don't think I would've been able to come up with such a great card! I loved the original version but the maroon border really finishes it nicely. As for the little baby card, how do you do it?! I love the composition of this card. Oh, how I'd love to see things through your eyes!
ReplyDeleteI like the added rhinestones! It's not often you get to put 3 numbers on a birthday card, eh?!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute rocket card! Looking at blogs makes me wanna craft!!!
