April PTI Blog Hop


I know I have been super absent these last couple of weeks, but I know you all understand how life gets a little crazy once in a while!
I am trying to keep up with all of your posting but man some of you are on a wicked creative streak. It's hard to keep up. :)

I was able to make a quick card for this month's PTI blog hop.
"dedicated to all the boys and men in our lives! Now's your chance to create Father's Day projects, boy birthday cards and more to build up your stash! Focus on masculine color schemes, fresh pattern combinations, understated embellishments and unique uses of images you may already have in your stash!"


I created the card base with my Silhouette, cutting out 2 stars from white cardstock and one from the yellow distressed dots patterned paper. The airplane is from "flying away", the sentiment is from "inside out birthday" and the stars are from the moon & stars mini from "tiny treats: halloween".

    The bright yellow star and blue airplane is such a great combination. The little black pearls at the back of the plane are too cute!!

    Kasia, I love it! The star-shaped card was perfect for this challenge, and I love the black beads as the smoke coming from the plane. Wonderful!

    This is really, really good. I absolutely love it cut with that patterned paper and the pearl airplane trail was genius. Great job on this one.

    A gorgeous star created by a multi talented star:) !! Wow; I love the vibrant colors and it's a great masculine card. It's the kind of card that every man/boy wants to receive!
